Columbia Care Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the four Medicine Man dispensary locations in Colorado which include Longmont, Thornton, Aurora, and Denver. Medicine Man a premier cannabis company that has been serving the Denver metro area since 2009.
With the acquisition of Medicine Man, a family-owned and operated cultivation and dispensary company, Columbia Cares strengthens its position in the Colorado market. The acquisition will add one cultivation facility and four dispensaries, including one medical/recreational location and three other recreational facilities to Columbia Care. In September of 2020, Columbia Care completed its acquisition of Colorado’s “The Green Solution”, the largest cannabis operator in Colorado which included 23 dispensaries and six cultivation and manufacturing facilities.
With the acquisition, Columbia Care is adding a strong and experienced management team along with talented employees to their mix. Medicine Man’s founders and management team are pioneers in the Colorado cannabis industry with over twelve years of experience.
Columbia Care currently operates 122 facilities including 92 dispensaries and 30 cultivation and manufacturing facilities in thirteen states. Columbia Care is one of the original providers of medical cannabis in the U.S. and continues to deliver industry-leading products and services.
