Fans of the Grateful Dead now have Garcia Hand Picked cannabis as an option in Colorado with three strains of flower available. The Garcia Hand Picked flower is grown locally by Veritas Fine Cannabis. The company has introduced a sativa strain called Morning in Marin, an indica strain called After Midnight and a hybrid called Love in the Afternoon. They are available in pre-packaged eighths and as pre-rolls at dispensaries along the Front Range.
The Garcia-inspired cannabis brand joins seven other celebrity brands currently available in Colorado. Willie Nelson’s Willie’s Reserve was one of the first celebrity brands introduced into the Colorado market. It was soon followed by former Denver Nuggets player Al Harrington’s cannabis brand. Some of the other celebrity brands include rapper Lil Wayne, Weezy, the rapper and actor Method Man, Jim Belushi’s Blues Brothers-themed pre-rolls, Tommy Chong Cannabis joints and former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson launched his brand in November of 2021 with Tyson 2.0.
For the Jerry Garcia inspired brand, Colorado is the fifth state where it can be found. Other states include California, Maryland, Massachusetts and Oregon.
